Nursery – Primary Standard

Nursery and preparatory classes are a great introduction to dance! These classes are based on imagination and free expressive movement. Children will learn to respond to the music creatively and will become aware of how their bodies move and how to move around in the surrounding space. Whilst enjoying themselves, the children will also learn to listen and follow instructions. Children can start nursery classes from the age of 2 1/2.

Preparatory classes can be started from 4 years of age. These introduce children to the ISTD exam system. Children can work towards the prep examinations as a class and are examined as a group with the comfort of having the teacher taking part in their exam session as if it were a normal class.
